the kinds of food that a person, animal, or community habitually eats. a special course of food to which a person restricts themselves, either to lose weight or for medical reasons.
Very popular in the Middle East, these fruits contain vitamins such as A and B and minerals like calcium, magnesium and Iron. The nutrients dates contains supports healthy hair growth, promoting blood circulation to the scalp. It also helps in preventing hair loss. They also contain other benefits for overall well-being.
Dragonfruit
This fruit is rich in antioxidants, fatty acids, carotene, proteins and vitamin C. It also contains calcium, iron and phosphorus. Adding it to your diet will helps the hair grow stronger, thicker and adds natural shine. It’s juice works well on chemically treated hair and coloured hair, when applied to scalp for a few minutes before shampooing.
Duck
Duck meat is said to contain Vitamins B2 which helps maintain fertility and healthy hair. They contain sulphur, iron, zinc and protein too!
Dried fruits
Dried fruits come in varieties, my faves are dried apricots and dried mangoes. These are a yes yes! to add to your diet too! The nutrients are concentrated in fruits when they are dried because the water/liquid component has been extracted from them. They are a great dessert, containing loads of vitamins and minerals for healthy hair!

Did you know eating the recommended amount of milk and dairy products can help you fight hair loss. They contain a good amount of vitamin B, D, minerals like Iron that helps red blood cells carry oxygen and nutrients to the hair follicle, and zinc which works as a co-enzyme, helping to create the hair structure. Have a chocolate or chocolate cookie, you can also add a glass of milk to your diet!
